Nice to Meet You
At Will Work For Chocolate, we are a group of marketing experts who are sincere, driven, trustworthy, have a great sense of humor, and are ready to roll up our sleeves and get to work.
At Will Work For Chocolate, our passion is to use engagement marketing to make a true, emotional connection that inspires action.
Our vision is to change the perception of advertising.
What is Will Work For Chocolate’s true point of differentiation from all of the other marketing/advertising agencies out there? It’s all about how we look at a brand.
“McDonald’s is not just a fast food chain restaurant. It feels like home. The food is comforting. They may have changed the apple pie, but the fries are as amazing as always. It’s a part of all of our memories. It’s fun. Little kids learn the letter M from their sign. Birthday parties are often hosted in the PlayPlace. Kids nowadays may not know Grimace, The Hamburglar, or Mayor McCheese, but we grew up with them. McDonald’s has been there since our first Happy Meal and they will be there for our $1 senior coffee. That’s what Engagement Marketing is all about.”
Education, Travel & Culture
2016 – present
Rebecca joined ETC (the US Department of State’s Education, Travel and Culture Accredited Program) so she could share her experience as a high school foreign exchange student in Paris with others. Being an exchange student was a life-changing event. It showed her the world is such a small place and no matter where you go, you will find kind and loving people. It is in her heart to change misperceptions by understanding other people’s cultures, customs, and traditions which, in turn, lead to a broader international understanding and goodwill.
The Humane Society For Animals, Inc.
2018 – Present
The Humane Society for Animals is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides for the welfare of dogs and cats in Benton County through shelter and adoption services, spaying and neutering vouchers, and humane education. Rebecca has a passion for pets and is proud to be a part of this no-kill shelter that has held over 90,000 animals since it originally opened in 1972.
ACNW (Arkansas Children’s Northwest)
Arkansas Children’s Northwest (ACNW) is the region’s first and only children’s hospital offering easy access to complete pediatric healthcare. Rebecca explains why she is so passionate to volunteer in this space. “I volunteer to help not only the children but also the parents who are living the worst nightmare of their lives. I had a NICU baby and know the heartbreak of leaving the hospital with an empty car seat. Then, at two-years-old, my daughter had a Tonsilloadenoidectomy and was given too much anesthesia. When she crashed twice they called me back to the ER to hold her “in case she passed”. While I was holding her, singing to her and telling her she wasn’t alone, she crashed a third time. As they were using a defibrillator to revive her, I was sent to PICU not knowing if she survived. A chaplain met me at the elevator and asked if he could administer her last rites. It was pain that is unimaginable. I am blessed because today she is a thriving 14-year-old who is a freshman in high school. I want to volunteer because I have been there. I have been in the emergency rooms and waiting areas not knowing what the outcome would be, and I want to comfort other parents who are in this same situation.”
Ronald McDonald House Charities
2010 – 2012
Ronald McDonald House Charities is an American independent nonprofit organization whose stated mission is to create, find, and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children. Rebecca specifically raised funds for the Ronald McDonald Houses, Family Rooms, and Grants in the Raleigh Region Co-Op. This charity touched her heart because she had a NICU baby, and had experienced their love and care firsthand.
Give Kids The World Village
1995 – 1996
Give Kids The World Village is an 84-acre, nonprofit resort in Central Florida that provides weeklong, cost-free vacations to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. Rebecca shared their company vision to provide everything deserving families needed in order to make their trip the vacation of a lifetime. She is so grateful she was able to play a role and help with the process. Since 1986, more than 160,000 children and families have had their dreams fulfilled in a whimsical Village unlike any other place on earth.
